Anyway to take this cap off?

So I have sensitive eyes and no I'm not going to get the script so I can tint my windows, I already have all my windows and full windshield tinted and I wear sunglasses till late into dusk. I don't wanna wrap or plasti dip it and I don't want to buy a full replacement for $80. Has anyone fixed this issue? Then again, I now most of you guys have 8 speeds..

Could just scuff it up with a Scotchbrite pad and give it a brushed aluminum look and get rid of the glare/ shine...

That is true, but I like the interior to be all black, or match to a darker color. I'm ready to swap the top dash and upper glove box and my steering wheel bag to all black. As well as the door panels, then get my a pillars black and headliner.

Scuff it up, tape it off, drape some newspaper and color match with some Duplicolor.

Wrap it with dry tint film. Light smoke, dark smoke, whatever shade you want. I used VIVVID tint on my mine.

It's held in with clips. Get a blue pry tool ( they sell them at the dealer ), you'll need the little guy, and it just pops right off!
