Apple Carplay

I has just bought a 2016 RAM Sport and it didn’t come with apple CarPlay. Was wanting to see if anyone had opinions on the quickest cheapest solutions.

I believe your only option is to upgrade to a 2018 radio. UAS or UAQ I believe. There is a whole thread on upgrading to it. For you already having the 8.4 radio it's a simple radio only swap. With a little bit of searching you should be able to find one around $600-$800. And you can probably sell yours around $400-500

That's an option also. Only issue going aftermarket is he'll loose out on screen size if he sticks with name brand radio's without spending $1000+. Or he could go the testla style radio but there is too many issues getting set up that it's a headache unless you like messing around with Android platforms

What are you trying to gain with the apple carplay? What radio is in your truck? Can you do something with an adapter to get what you are after?

my truck didn’t come with navigation as well so if I was to have apple carolay I would be able to have that plus the extras is all I was wanting to gain from it. Thanks for the link
