Audio Upgrade - need advice

I plan on upgrading the stereo system soon and want to make sure I have everything I need.

Background: I have the stock 6 speaker non-alpine system. It originally had the 5.0 uconnect, but the dealer installed a Kenwood DNX574s head unit.

I plan on buying new 3.5" dash speakers, oem plug pigtails, and 4 ohm resistors.

6x9 front and rear speakers. I saw some pioneer direct drop ins, and read if I go with the kickers I may need the 1/4" space. I found a full kicker set on amazon for the truck through an older forum post.

Q1: With these, I will run them to a 4 channel amp, can I use factory wiring? Or will I need to run new speaker wires to the amp with the rca to the HU?

Now for what I'm not sure of with the sub.

Q2: Given the base system, can i buy the kicker sramcq09 (vss sub stage powered 10" sub), plug it all in to the factory wiring, and go? Or do I need to buy a box, sub and amp? From what I've been looking at, minus wiring, the kicker vss would only be about 200 or so less.

Q3: what other components do I need? Distro blocks, loc, cap, etc.

Kicker Sram sub would be plug and play. You wouldn’t need to add any additional wiring. I run it but I may be pulling mine out soon so I can run a the whole food out floor again.

You should be able to get away without using a spacer if you go the kicker 6x9 route. I was able to but it wouldn’t hurt to have a set available just in case.

If your planning on running the speakers on a separate amp I would just run all new speaker wires and bypass the factory wiring
