B&W Turnover Ball for 1500 Limited with Air Suspension

Help! I've just purchased a gooseneck horse trailer and bought a b&w Turnoverball to tow it with. I'm reasonably competent and have been installing it with minimum swearing until I find that the Ubolts wont fit past the frame. a little more searching and I've found small print on a site that says it's not for air sus. I'm in New Zealand, so I really need to make this work, (the shipping costs around $700 NZD and takes weeks) Do any of you have any experience with this? is there a work around? I'd be Grateful for the help.
