So I need new ball joints on my 03. Worn pretty bad. Definitely need to get them replaced within the next few weeks (I don’t drive crazy and I don’t drive a lot)
Firestone quoted me almost 2k to get them all replaced. What’s the cheaper route? Is there even one? Lol.

Do it yourself. The ball joints aren't very expensive, you can get the pickle fork and ball joint press from Advance Auto for free. Plenty of videos on youtube.

P.S. Firestone is a ripoff. I've never been there when they didn't say my vehicle needed $800 or more in repairs. Ask for recommendations from friends. Somebody will give you a MUCH lower quote.

I was just looking at RockAuto you can get the Moog Problem solver UCAs and Lower BJs for about $130ish shipped.
Those are a high quality better engineered than stock unit.

Sure, it's some work to get em on, but not a whole lot!

Way cheaper to do yourself. My 03 has the Moogs in it from Rock Auto. No problems even being lowered. Give her a shot!
