I have a set of these, bought them a couple of months ago, I also have a new set of Mopar exhaust gaskets and a set of 6.1 bolts with the lock tight on them.

Anyone put a set of these on, have any advice as to what to do or not do? Looks like the dip stick has to come out anyone know if it just pulls out after unbolting it.

Any advice is much appreciated as I'm 58 and my hands and shoulders don't like this abuse anymore.

I had a set install on my 2011 5.7 a few years ago now it was well worth it for me but the guy told me that the driver side was very hard, I don't know about the dip stick so maybe somebody that did it will chime in.

I put a set on my 14' 2wd before I went longtubes, you have to bend dipstick tube around them, bottom bolts are kind of a pain to get to but you can make it work with patientence.Only complaint I had and this may have just been A badly built set but a friend had a same problem was mine hit steering shaft really bad.He tapped a dent in his primary,I shortened shaft bolt and took a tiger disc to square edges of shaft where bolt is and rounded them off and fixed it.All and all I wish I had spent the extra and got jba's when I went shorties. And also use oem multi-layer gaskets instead of the paper ones Bbk sends.Forgot to add that the bolts they send for collectors aren't very strong, good idea to go grab hardened ones or just grade 8.
