That's part of shopping at Hy-Vee, from Streamwood, IL. 37 miles out, 37 miles back. Gotta stop at the local watering hole on the way back

Bag of ice and the underfloor storage maybe? Ya got stop for a beverage for sure.

I see the same situation out where I'm at. This is where the tubs and insulated bags come in when I go shopping.

I also always keep at least one of those Trader Joe's insulated reusable zip-bags under the back seat nowadays, in case the missus asks me to bring stuff home on the days that I go into the city. I paid like $5 for it. ( This should show you exactly what it looks like, though I have no idea what idiot would pay nearly $20 for the thing... )

I just bought one of these guys, it's very handy. The straps keep it from flying forward and it pops out in a couple of seconds.

I have 3 large totes with lids that I put everything in and bungee cords across the top. They sit perfectly side to side.
I also have a load bar in front that keeps them at the back against the tailgate.

- The Blue Mule

I just went to doing this too.

image.jpgIMG_4748.pngAny recommendations on managing grocery bags and small items in the bed?
I chose the roll n lock for my 8’ bed 6/19 and it has an accessory called the cargo manager which I remove easily if it gets in the way. It has been excellent.Sorry I couldn’t find a pic of my own and the truck is up.

Save a lot of money by just using two of the Husky bins from earlier in the thread along with a bar or beam behind it to keep them from sliding forward. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-5...vy-Duty-Storage-Bin-in-Black-232387/300170479

I've been using them for years and prefer to have two vs one big one to keep stuff separated or if I want to remove one and have fuel canisters next to it. I have a 3rd I keep chainsaw stuff in (files, bar oil, etc) and just swap the whole thing in when I need my chainsaw stuff.

I was just pointing out the differances in price between gouge and screw Canuck Amazon and Amazon US.
I have a couple small cargo nets that i use if i need to,but i usually just throw things in the box,and the bed rug for the most part keeps things from moving around to much.
One of the better purchases i made for the box,it makes crawling around the box alot easier on the knees, lol.
