I love my LineX and plan on putting the bedrug over it. bedrugs are great, and they have options like not going up the sides. I use the hell out of my bed, but if you don't use your truck bed for heavy and hard stuff, no reason why not just go with the rug.

I've had them in 2 of my Rams and love it. I only haul my dog and our ATV and snowmobile gear in my truck so as far as heavier materials I don't know how it would hold up. However in my 07 Ram road salt corroded one of the zippers so in my 13 I plugged all the bed holes and put a tailgate seal on it.

Love the BedRug. Had one in my last truck and put one in current. Over my time with the BedRug I've hauled mulch, lumber and concrete pavers and still looks great.

When it gets looking a bit dirty I just go to the self serve carwash and spray the bed out with the high pressure wand.

I too am pleased with the bedrug. Have had one about 7 years now in my '08 QCSB 3500. 7 months ago I purchased a '15 RCSB 1500 with the Rambox. Unfortunately Bedrug does not sell one for this truck. I was hoping that they would sell one that would cover the floor ( like a rubber mat ). It seems they manufacture one for the 5.7 length only with the Rambox.

I had one in another truck i had & loved it,if i keep this pos ram i may add the lower portion as it smooths out the ridges & makes it easier on the better halfs knees.

I had one on my previous truck without a cover for a period of time, but it was only a month prior to me getting a hard cover for it, so I cannot provide you with any long term information. Since the plastic rug fibers are mounted to a water impervious foam rubber backing I'd assume the only issue would be long term exposure to the sun's ultra violet rays.

I never really saw this as an option as I would be worried to mess it up and what not. I am still looking into line-x as I think that is the ultimate protection.

I have the plastic liner so I put just the Bed Rug floor liner and tail gate cover on my R/T. Sure saved wear and tear on my knees getting in and out of the bed.

Wanted to hear from people that have only the bottom bed version of the bedrug (without the sidewalls) and wonder if anyone regrets not getting the full version with sidewalls?

I am thinking about just getting the bottom part along with the tailgate rug, because I like the idea that the whole bed will breathe better without the sidewall parts of the rug. Also, most of the abuse gets put on the floor of the bed, not so much the walls.

Thoughts/opinions/experiences?

Looks nice. Question, do you have 2 mats...or how is it that you seem to have a piece of mat under another mat and making a continuous spread of mat across your bed and onto the tailgate?

Also, I have no spray in liner or anything. I plan to leave mine just factory paint and just get the bottom version of the Bedrug. Bad idea? I do not haul a lot of cargo that would damage my bed...mainly want something that will protect the bottom of the bed and also prevent items from sliding around (luggage, boating/fishing stuff, boxes, etc).
