My 2013 Ram 2500 2wd absoultely sucks in the snow....I got 15 feet out of my garage and it just sat there and spun....could not rock it or get it to do anything.

It camne with the Firestone HT Transforce tires....great for holding air but that is it!! Awful in rain, snow and damp weather...not bad if the truck is parked...hahah

Anyway, I just bought a set of BF GOodrich AT KO s for it, and hope they will do better...cannot be any worse...

Anyone use thes tires?? I had about 12 people highly recommend these, with the only drawback being a little MPG decrease due to the all terrain tread. Anyone experience this?

Cant wait to get them installed, and it probably wont snow after that..ugh.:happy160:

What size did you go with? I assume you stuck with the Load Range E tires?

I ask, because there are a few sizes that have a different tread compound / pattern that specifically say "Not for severe snow service" which really means "This tires are absolute **** in the snow" My Dad ended up with a set on his Ram, and they're CRAP.

Conversely, the standard AT/KOs are amazing in the snow!

I am really impressed with the BFG A/T's that came on my Power Wagon.

They've hooked up in snow, sand, and moderate mud without issue. Though I do have 4WD to back me up when I get in too deep.

They are smooth, quiet and ride nice when loaded up or empty, in 117 deg down to 7 deg so far. I run mine at 35 fr / 30 rr and ignore the tire press alarm. They do much better "floating" on soft stuff, and offer a smoother ride, though they do feel a bit "soft" compared to Max Load PSI when cornering. But, so far, no issues. They don't even warm up due to the flex.

The only issue I have, is that the grooves are PERFECT size for trapping the small Pee gravel they use for road construction and coating gravel roads in my area. Every time on to the pavement, you get to listen to them firing like 22LR rounds into the wheel wells and underside of the truck. So far, no cosmetic damage, but it can be a little unnerving when out of the blue one decides to let loose at speed and "PING" the bottom of the cab. Lol.

You'll like them. :headbang:
