Good choice, ive been using them for my last 2 trucks, no complaints. Tread wear and performance is great.

I loved my BFG's that I had on a couple of trucks....they do ride a little rough, but they are typically used on 3/4 ton trucks....designed for heavy towing and heavy off road use. They are great for traction and long life.
I worked at Sears several years ago....sold tires and batteries. For every ten tires that can back to the store with defects (side wall issues, throwing tread, etc) at least 8 of the 10 were Goodyears…..terrible tires. My last truck had 21,000 and the Goodyear SRA's were bald and splitting in the tread grooves. My new 2018 has the same dammm tire and in the rain yesterday the truck spun at every intersection and around every turn....can't wait for them to wear out....

According to my TPMS they are all inflated to 40psi. I know that when we had the cold front a few weeks ago my Goodyear's dropped down from 50 to 38 and the monitor showed low tire pressure. So I am guessing there is a minimum setting that can be changed somewhere to trigger an alarm when they get low.Nice looking tires. Just ordered a set yesterday. I had them on my 03 Ram but didn’t get to experience them too much before I traded the truck in. I think the tire shop had them at 50-55psi. Way too much. I think I was running them around 40-45 psi. OE speck was 36 psi.

That’s what Discount tire put mine at when I bought them but that was only because it was what I told them to inflate them to after they asked me. I didn’t know no different. It was BFG themselves that said that pressure was dangerously too low and said I needed to be running them at 55. They did feel awful spongy at 39-40. Still rode rougher’n all get out, tho at factory spec for the stock Goodyear’s.

I think I'll bump mine to 45psi and see how they feel.
Thats exactly what I found, couldn't win . Upper 40s felt great on smooth road but on rough road the back of the truck acted like it wanted bounce around to the front like I had the weakest shocks in the world. I fixed that by selling the KO2s. Tired of playing air pressure and vibration games. Went back at 34-35psi smooth ride almost like stock on Nittos that are less than a half inch shorter and almost 20lbs lighter per tire. That’s what I got my back ones at now, front ones are at 50. Seems to be ok on the cold days, but on the warm days, they’ll get up around 50 in the back and they’re right back at being really bumpy so, I just can’t win for losin’....lol.

Are the nitto 4 ply or LT rated ? Thsnks
I am pretty sure they are 4ply ( I just looked and can't find where I saw the 4ply rating) but rated slightly higher than the OE GY's load index . I don't understand the need or reason for all of the different ratings that seem to mean pretty much the same thing . Like the load rating , OEs are 114load index the Nittos are 116, The nitto terra grappler G2's rated at 116 are 4 ply , then their is the SL rating which they both oe GYs and the Nitto are. Seems like a bunch of ways to say the same thing to me . Kind of like my BFGs were they said E rated,10ply,126 load index . Seems like a lot of things saying the same things to me or at least thats 3 things I don't want if they are slightly different in their meaning
yup I think mine are like 2700 and something at low 40s psi . I wasnt to concerned about the load rating figuring they were at least as strong as the OE tires. I think once in about 4 years I had anything in the back that weighed anything and even then I forgot to add some air to the OE tires. I wanted to stay as close height wise as I could to the 35" BFGs and I only lost less than a half inch , got rid of the vibes so I was happy. Since then I have removed the rear 5100s and reinstalled the OE shocks that only had about 20k on them. Now roads I wondered why no one complained about here are rough but nothing like they were or even close. I have the fronts set at 1.4. A friend of mine a couple years ago put 1.5" spacers on the stock front struts. It rode like it was just about stock. I may do the same as with my OE struts as now the front is noticeably rougher than than need be compared to the rear. Starting to actually like the truck again.
EDIT 2756 LBS @ 44. JUST FOR THE INFO nitto-terra-grappler-g2-tires
