I can't find much when searching on this topic.

I want to go with a bigger tire on my stock 2016 1500 with 4 corner air suspension. The air suspension trucks seem to sit a little lower than coil spring trucks. (Except the Rebels) I plan on keeping the stock 18x9 rims. Nothing crazy thinking 275/65/20 AT tire of some kind. Will they rub? Please post pics

I have a level and put on Nitto Ridge Grappler 275/65-20s yesterday and they fill up the wheel well nicely. That tire size is 1/2 larger than 35's but 11.75 wide. Looking at my truck leveled (I dont have air ride) I think they would still fit comfortably in there. I can see on a strange turn in/uphill corner situation you might get a scrub somewhere but other than that Im super happy with the size.

If it would rub anywhere on your truck it would be on the rear part of the wheel well where the fender flare meets the body. I really think it would be close but comfortable to fit.

Also consider the tire you use. The Ridge Grappler has some crazy squared lugs and side wall so it will get closer to things more than say the Terra Grappler or a rounded off A/T tire.

You shouldn't rub, especially if your sticking with a 275. Jumping from a 60 to 65 (33" to 34") will put you in an E rated tire (10ply vs 4ply). I did this with my last Ram 1500 and I didn't like how the road felt rougher. If you're just looking for a more aggressive looking tire, with better ratings, and better handling look at Falken Wilpeak AT3 275/60/R20. I put these on my truck without sacrificing ride quality or mpg's.. Plus they look good!! I'll be getting these again when the time comes.

Here’s a couple of pics before I raised the truck.
