Bilstein 5100 bump skip at 2.1 question

Good Morning Forum
A few months ago I purchased some springs and control arms for my 2014 Ram 1500 Sport. Have you heard of anyone having bump skip when running the 5100's set on 2.1 in conjunction with the +1 Rear pSprings by Icon and 5100's in the rear. Anytime I hit a pot hole or medium size bump the truck deflects and or skips. Is this something I just need to get used to or is there something else I need to look into to correct?

Does it feel like the front or the rear? Psi in tires? There's a few variables at play here, but this is a bit of a commonality with 5100s in certain circumstances

I have checked the tire pressure and when installed, followed all the proper torque specs with after truck weight was loading and rechecked about 100 miles after install. More in the rear. Which would lead more to the level kit.

I wonder if you're feeling the adverse effects of the preload on the front springs when you hit choppy sections. How high are the pressures in you're tires. I'm about 40 psi front and rear running a similar setup

Yes I think is deflection. 40 psi is what im running

Yea, Honestly You Have A Decent Setup and it should ride pretty well. Is the condition most noticeable over fast choppy sections?

I had a similar feeling in my f150 with bilsteins set to 1.5". The 5100s are known for that over washboard type stuff, especially at higher lift settings. Unfortunately. All the other variables are right where they seem like they should be. Preloading stock coils doesn't make them stiffer per se but they start to have weird characteristics this being one of them. My only suggestion, which requires spending money unfortunately would be to get the eibach front coils and set them to the lowest height.
