Prolly "should be" 21oz. I just add 15oz myselfWhat’s that mean ?
S/B 20 or 21 oz of LubegardReceived my 2nd analysis. Truck since new mostly PUP 0W40 and WIX XP (a couple of early OEM changes were PP 0W40 and OEM filter). At 65K went to RP 20-500 and 16 OZ of Lubeguard. Can't complain of the results and overall engine performance. At 70K repeated PUP 0W40, RP 20-500, and 16 OZ of Lubeguard. I'll post those results @ 75K. I have used up my stash of PUP as I had a few cases on hand. Thinking of staying with PUP, RP filter, and the 1/2 bottle of Lubeguard. May go to PUP High Mileage at next change.
Yes I am aware. ThxS/B 20 or 21 oz of Lubegard
Another example why 5w30 can be a good choice for the 6.4 if 0w40 is, if it is a stout 5w30. I'm not saying you should change, you shouldnt, just saying the viscosity is what it is. Seams like the oil is serving you well imo, maybe the wear can be slightly better, but for a hemi no issues for sure, thanks for posting. I would say your engine is a better example then the average 6.4 based on the small sample size we see here with 0w40 pup, maybe even amoung the best we see. I wouldn't change a thing.Received my 2nd analysis. Truck since new mostly PUP 0W40 and WIX XP (a couple of early OEM changes were PP 0W40 and OEM filter). Where have you found the Valvoline?EDIT- double roast me because I'm an idiot and didn't attach the pdf the first time
Roast me: The Mobil HM was what I had on hand last time, this time I have 7qt of Mobil EP and another Fram XG2. Currently sitting at 5k on this change, will be changing it in the next couple days.
Moving forward, I've bought 10qt of Valvoline Advance.

Do you still have the jugs? Judging by the moly level it may have been their new formula. If it says triple action formula its the new formulaNo idea what it was, had it on hand for some reason. Next up is Mobil EP, then Valvoline Advance will be on the shelf.
No, this was their high mileage synthetic. What I have going in next says Triple whatever on it.Do you still have the jugs? Judging by the moly level it may have been their new formula. If it says triple action formula its the new formula
Very interesting uoa, it doesnt post your location but it is interesting on your uoa's that appear to have been done right after winter the wear is heavier.Another report attached.
Last change was PUP 5w30 with MOS2. Prior changes were with Castrol Titanium Synethic 5w30. Not sure if the PUP is 'better' that the Castrol - the wear numbers look similar and the Moly was even less. TBN was less after a similar amount of miles as well; meaning the additive pack wasn't as roboust as the Castrol. Not sure if I'll go back to the Castrol or another oil the next change...we'll see.
