Well before I got feed up with local chev dealer and ordered my new Longhorn... I tried to buy a LTZ that the dealer had for sale on their website. The truck was in transit to the dealer. It was a really well equipped, good looking, and VERY well priced. I went to the dealer, they appraised my trade-in then I was told they may have a previous reservation on the truck in question and started the bait and switch campaign. I told the sales manager that i wanted to buy the truck as advertised but he would not sell. I told him I was not in a hurry and would buy the exact same truck for that price and wait on delivery. I was told that to do so wasn't an option. The truck continues to be listed on their website. Thank goodness for my local Ram dealer.

I try to look for the good in all things. Just a failing of mine!

Ya you have to imagine if they are that crooked on sales probably just as bad in service department. At least you figured it out before buying any thing.

A follow up. First thing is the Chev is a 2021 High Country not a LTZ. Now the dealership is advertising the truck on their website for about $4000 more than it was when I tried to buy it, so I guess they would sell it now.

something similar happened to me back in july.i put down a deposit with all the paperwork signed and got the build sheet on a power wagon that had everything i was looking for that was in transit.i called a couple weeks later to check on the delivery date and was told it was no longer available.then the douche salesmam tries to sell me a 3500 that was almost 10 thousand more.bait and switch is illegal here in B.C. so i filed a report on them.i went to another dealer and looked at my current powerwagon.i told the sales manager what went down with the other dealer and they were really fantastic at getting me into the new truck at a reasonably good deal all things considering.they even delivered it 400 kilometers up to me for free.the one i ended up in was one of 5 2021 level 2 powerwagons available in Canada at the time.the 75a i was looking for was long gone by then.we used to get all of our vehicles serviced at that dealer.we're talking thousands over the last 20 years and they screwed me over for a few bucks so they could sell it to someone else.
