Can anyone offer any opinions on drilled and slotted brake rotors and pads for 2014 1500 5.7?

Thanks

perforated if you tow is not recommended as they will crack under severe stress like on a race track, slotted on the other hand is what you want. if only cruising around then anything will work well

If price isn't much of a concern, I'd go with EBC. If you are price conscious, the powerstop above is a good recommendation.

Had the Powerstop setup above on a 2013 F150 and it was great. Difference was night and day - excellent stopping power while towing our 7200lb TT as well.

For a stock truck doing normal stock truck things, I see no point in drilled/slotted rotors.

My truck sat a little lower than I liked. The suspension was a little softer than I liked. The tires and wheels were not what I liked. I fixed all those things.

The OEM brakes are effin' awesome, even when towing. I towed my 6000 lb trailer without the trailer brake controller even activated (oops!). The truck still stopped well. When the time comes, good ol' OEM brakes are going on this ride.

I went with the power stop kit.
Only driven it home from the shop so far, seemed smoother.
I tow a 12ft enclosed trailer a couple hundred miles a month, we'll see how they do.
