Brake light on dash with tuner disabled trAction control ?

Is this normal for traction control to be disabled via i2 tuner ??

Custom tune for headers and then went in to “quick adjust “ after tune was installed and deleted traction control via tuner .

I do know that the 2014 are different 2015 pcm cracking wise. Maybe that has something to do with the difference

Your traction control ,abs , etc normally work toghether like if you have a bad speed sensor or your tune disable those and the light come up. I had this problem in the past and it took some to find out the speed sensor was bad ... dodge put over 1200$ cad just in time to try to find the problem.... tue advisor told me they gonna put their best guy in troubleshooting electronici was like fine ok Thanks. But after several hours and i aigned their paper accepting what they were doing i had to stop them.... the man at the end told me it was my computer modulde just the part was over 1000$ cad... i was like man come on. So i took the truck to a small garage where he specialise in electronics and he find out the trouble in less than 15 minutes. A bad speed sensor ... he switched bot of them at the rear of the differential and he showed me the wear on 1 of them etc.. cost like 225$ parts and labor. Those dodge dealer......... i like those truck its my 4 ram but those dodge dealers..............

That’s quite the hassle . I don’t think I have a problem . It just had it happen immediately when I disabled tc via tuner. With custom tune alone the brake light and abs light weren’t on . I’m guessing the tune writer just disabled traction control not the whole system.

Now I understand why those lit up. You turned off traction control with the programmer. Normally that's not recommended. You can disable it for drag racing but for everyday I wouldn't recommend it. Your ABS system is now no longer working as well as the electronic stability control and, of course, traction control.

If you enable it, the lights will go away and all your safety systems will be operating as designed..

yes, they work like that new ram model, they are toghether with abs and speed sensor and traction control etc, even if you take out the fuse it will pop out all light and even the air bag one i think and sometimes the service4whd message. but you canot remove the tune since you did install it , you flashed the comp and you would need a dealer flash to original to see if its your problem ? i dont know where you live but here in montreal the winter is here already and you know electrical problem come with it sometimes haha

also your truck is new, i mean recent and you dont want all those light in your dash its annoying long term

Intake, exhaust, programmer, custom tune, set WOT shift points 200 RPM below redline for starters.

What rear gear set do you have?
