Hi, we offer a few options. We highly recommend the R1 Concepts Geomet Rotors and the Posiquiet brake pads. This combo has proven itself over and over again to have better stopping power, low dust, and long lasting. Message me if you would like more info and a quote.

By the way, I see you are from the Adirondacks. BEAUTIFUL area! I used to go up there for vacations, mostly for the Adirondack Nationals.

While I am sure there are several excellent solutions I can only comment on my happiness with the Power Stop K7141-36 solution. I installed on all corners last year, tow 15K trailer, and was very pleased with the Power Stop performance.

Upgrading brakes is a good thing.
However, it shouldn't matter if towing or not as the trailer brakes should take care of the trailer - unless they are sub-par.

How many miles on your 2017? My 2014 didn't need brakes until 95K and even that I'm a bit suspicious that they were really that worn. My truck was sitting at the dealer waiting for parts and the service advisor caught me in a moment of weakness. I figured I probably won't own the truck by 200K and was going to have to do them once so might as well do it when the truck is already in for something.

I've been pretty happy with the OEM stuff but don't have anything to compare it to.

Yeah I think that guy on here that does Hot Shots had over 150k on his brakes before he had to replace. Many guys getting over 100k out of OEM. My question is even if you buy Mopar are they "really" the same brakes as they are installing on the line?

I’m at 136k and I don’t think my brakes have ever been changed on my 2015 2500. I know at least the rotors are original and the pads look stock with plenty of pad left on them.

I had 40K on the truck and the rear rotors were shot (deep groves but not warped). Front was OK but not smooth.
The Powerstop pad and rotor kit made braking night and day. I never realized how deteriorated my braking was. The only problem was getting the old rotors off. Road salt up here is a *****. They were rusted on but good. It took 15 minutes of sledge hammering each one off.
