Has anybody replaced a BW 44-45 output shaft bushing? If so, what was bushing removal like and what was used (tools)? What was used for re-installation?
I have a slow leaking output shaft seal that has been replaced twice in a short mileage span and is leaking again. I don't have any visible scoring on the driveshaft nor any discernible play in the u-joints, so I'm left thinking that the bushing has enough play in it to allow the driveshaft to prematurely wear the seal.
