I am in the process of making my interior all black and white but am stumped on what to do with the carpet. Should I just stain it black or I was thinking about taking it out and laying down herculiner. Is that even possible in our trucks or is there to many wires and pre drilled holes on the bottom of the cab?

i re did mine grey a while back and all i did was buy 3 of the RIT dye jugs (liquid) and i made a wood crate as big as the carpet and lined it then filled with water then mixed dye in it. and let carpet sit in it for 24 hrs or more.

Just buy black carpet. It's not THAT expensive, and it it'll give your interior a fresh new look.

Y'know...I just had my floor out last year(?) and I don't remember a lot of wiring under there, at least not any that couldn't be moved aside for herculining.
If it were me though, I'd replace the carpeting with factory spec MIP or rubberized flooring. That's what my ram has and it survived several years of abuse in Phoenix, was removed, scrubbed clean, and looked like new when reinstalled!

Guys I know there who just ran lined floors always said they got real hot in those AZ summers.

I miss Filibertos, Del Taco, and all the swap meets... Oh, Sprouts, Trader joes and Cost Plus for thier wine selection too! :birgits_tiredcoffee

Alright thanks guys I'll just get a black fit flooring then. Maybe I'll head to the dealership and see how much they want to rip me off for one. If not where is a good place I can get one from
