Keep an eye on your intake tube, they're famous for being rock catchers and dusting the engine.

You basically wasted your money if you're looking for any kind of gains. You swapped out a true factory CAI for an aftermarket "CAI". I put that in quotes because it's pulling hot air from inside the engine bay. A true CAI pulls cooler air in from outside the engine bay.

Is it oiled ?
Yes, it's an oiled filter. Waste of money.

One of the things ram really did right was OEM air intake. I cant get my filter to get dirty even living on a gravel road.

That was one of my first mods, I didn’t research how good our stock box is, fell for the hype.
I do like the look & ended getting a s/b filter which is more like the oem.

I'm a sucker for a good looking engine bay, so I bought the Ram Air intake for my previous 5th gen. It's an OTR style intake. I wanted to free up engine bay space for an upgraded inverter. And I also loved how it looked. So I'm not totally against an aftermarket intake. As long as you know going in that there will be no performance gains. Here's a couple pics of the intake right after I installed it...

I try to keep my engine bay cleanish, but that is next level!

That is the same system I have on my ‘24 Rebel GT. I believe it came on all GT models.

Works well and my filter is still almost as clean as the day I took delivery.

PS. OP, If you are happy with your CAI then it’s not a waste of money. No more than a modified exhaust just for the sound. Or lifting a 2WD just to drive on the HWY.

If the owner is happy with their ride, it is money well spent.

Unless said CAI is deterent to engine longevity, then it's not a wise decision,or money well spent.

Not really…from project farm…When particles were dropped onto the filters, the Wix and Purolator filters allowed zero particles to pass freely. Meanwhile, the K&N filter saw 2972 particles per .01 cubic feet. When hit with a sudden burst of air, both the Wix and Purolator filters were below 50 particles. The K&N isn’t as safe; it allowed 421 particles to pass through the filtration media. Steady flow did show an improvement for the expensive filter at just five particles, though that may be because so much of the material had already passed through the material in the first two tests. Still, the WIX filter outperformed its more expensive competition, blocking all particles from passing through.

Ok, I agree with that. But the OP said K&N. They are known to be well made and quality.
I hope you're making a joke,as K&N filters are one of the worst filters you can run, especially their oiled filters. Well Made and Quality don't go hand in hand with K&N

If all you bought it for was looks good deal. If you expected any kind of performance gains it's not going to happen. The stock airbox flows more than a stock engine can use. And without tuning anything aftermarket on these engines produce zero gains.

Everything is computer controlled and metered. The ECU simply won't allow more air/fuel in than what it is programmed to allow.

I tell people the first performance mod you should do is an unlocked ECU, tuner and tuning package with a reputable Gen 3 Hemi tuner. Once you have that you can start bolting things on, sending logs to your guy and getting updated tunes to make use of those mods. Just know your factory warranty is now null and void.
