Cam and Lifters replaced just yesterday

Just had them replaced yesterday, took it home and seemed to be driving okay but was a short commute home maybe 5 mins, parked up and saw what seemed to be a small amount on white smoke when I popped the hood.

Parked it as it was halloween and the family was waiting so had to run out in the Wifes car.

Left for work this morning, couple of mins in it was running rough then as I made a turn engine light came back on as I went uphill.

Had to pull over and get to work so I will get it tonight and see what codes are showing.

Who did the work? If a shop then get it towed right back there. Would not even attempt to drive it.

Hi, Was a shop yes, its now back with them.

Codes were for a cyclinder misfire on cylinder 6 and also P1416

Sounds like a either an mds solenoid not plugged back in and/or a pushrod not seated properly.

Turns out it was a MDS solenoid
