Cargo loops on tailgate?

Has anyone ever added any cargo loops using the screw locations that hold the cover plate on the upper interior of the tailgate? Wondering about that for keeping the rear of a cargo net secured. Thanks.

I haven't done that on any of my trucks but my late b.i.l. did on his Samurai. He put "footman loops"
On several places on that lil 4x4.
I think he had a velcro fetish. Lol
He used that **** like hillbillies use duct tape.
