i went with the 14" mufflex kit. I love it because it sounds great without being too loud.

Hey the flowmaster catback sounds good but just don't know about the drone with flowmaster. And it's kinda expensive. Check you tube for clips of all those bro.

May I ask why you are looking at cat back systems? It is equally beneficial IMO to just replace the muffler and other limiting sections. The stock exhaust is already stainless so it will last a long time.

I like the Borla best personally but have not pulled the trigger. If and when I do I plan to leave the reso's and swap the Y with a Magna flow.

A little history I have done Magna Flow on two Durangos one a 4.7L and one a Hemi. I have done Cherry Bomb on 4.0L Jeep and then Borla on the Audi A4 I had. I guess I am getting old because I just don't want it to be loud at all.

Hi I just wanted to add to this topic, I see they offer different cat back exhaust systems, but does anybody know if there is a company that makes a complete header back true dual exhaust kit for the 2011 1500. I just bought a set of headers and would like to change everything in one shot. Thanks

Magnaflow makea Y-Pipe with hiflo cats that goes into 3". You could use it with shorty headers and the stock or aftermarket cat back. The benefits are the cats and no crushed pipe at the Y.

How about an e-cutout with stock exhaust, then you have loud when you want it and quiet when you what it?

I had flowmaster 40 on my '05 ram with Hemi, i thought it sounded great. Went with mufflex 14" on my '11 and love it. It's louder, throaty and sounds great at WOT without being really crazy if ur on the highway for long periods. My opinion, plus its cheaper and fast.
