Where is the best place to get one? Any brand better than the next?

I wouldn't bother on the Hemi....not direct injected....no supercharger....no turbo. It wouldn't hurt to put one on if you have the money to blow, but definitely not necessary.

To each their own.

Obx: I have seen a few. {Billet Tech/Moroso/Home made} All seem to work! If installed correctly. Which they are Extremely easy to install.

If you don't make your own-->Give Moe's a look! He is a big supporter of this forum!

I would bother. I've seen results on my '11 and my '13 Ram 5.7.
I personally run a Billet Technologies unit. Why? because I found it used cheap.

I think the quality on the unit is outstanding.
After 'draining' the unit, I like that it's something I can remove and clean completely as opposed to something with a drain valve. But that's personal preference.

Anyone that says it's not really needed, has no clue what it does.
The amount of **** mine has stopped from entering my intake has me convinced it IS NEEDED.

When I had my Challenger, I owned 2 different brands at different points in time. First was the Billet Technology can. Very nice and honestly well worth the money. If you want the ability to do different colors, logos, etc then BT is top notch. Also, the guy that runs it is first class.

Only reason I got rid of it was I had a chance to snag a Moroso can. I prefer the machined look of the Moroso and quality is equally as good as BT. Besides the look, what I really like is the drain spout. I prefer that method vs having to unscrew the can like on the BT can.

I'm not sure if Arrington offers a unit for the Ram or not, but that is a "new" offering (about a year old or so). Several of the Challenger folks were switching to them. I had a hard time spending $250 on it, so I didn't really research it much. But from general rumbles I've heard, reviews are good.

As far as if you "need" a catch can, everyone has an opinion. If you put one on your Hemi, you will see that something is going on to fill the can. Is it detrimental? Does it mean your car will fail in 100k miles, etc? I haven't see any scientific tests proving it either way. But the fact I know they work, then $100 or so seems like cheap insurance to me. Plus it's a little bling for under the hood. Without doubt, there are other mods you could spend more money on with less benefit.

I have ordered my catch can and would like to get braided lines made for it. Anyone know the size of the hose that fits onto the PCV?

If you saw the collected yilch in a can between oil changes (ie if you had one), you would not be so quick to dismiss their worth. :banghead:

Hmm, if you only saw the crap the can catches in the winter months. You might be tempted to put one on.

One thing for sure, to each their own. was the first mod done on my truck. Some people have 2.

BT catch can hands down, people who think they are too expensive are cheap and don't really appreciate quality and attention to detail oh and that's my personal opinion ;)

See how nicely tucked away it is, almost factory looking

Says the guy with ARH LT's, a RIPP and L&M transmission:emotions34:
Were not all ballers like you.. lol

They all do the same thing no matter what the price. BT's are nice but there are other alternatives.

Good credit actually lol
Only $9000 and that truck is officially all mine :D
I guess as I've seen what going the cheaper route gets a guy, I personally find the extra money spent on a quality product is well worth the cost in both looks and function.
But yes there is much cheaper and as effective catch can solutions, heck it can be done for under $5. Beer can $0.10(catch can) duct tape $3(hose attachment and "catch can" mount) and some old trashed garden hose $0(connecting the "catch can" to the truck PVC system)
