chances of water locking the motor?

while installing the air gap the gasket wasnt sitting right (i didnt see that right off). put everything back together and started filling it with coolant. 2 gallons in i saw dripping and thought it was one of the hoses. but it was seeping from the intake gasket.. took everything apart again cleaned it all up but im worried about locking the engine.. thoughts?

One thing you could do, besides checking the dip stick or dropping the pan, is to remove one of the two spark plugs from each cylinder and bump it (2 of 2 would be better)--liquid coming out the spark plug hole is bad, trying to compress a non-compressible liquid is worse. :sawzall:

Pull the spark plugs out when its all back together, unhook the ign coil 12v supply from the ign coil, remove the fuel pump relay from the PDB, spin the motor over with the starter a few times, install the plugs, wire them up, plug in the fuel pump relay and plug back in the ign coil.

ITS ALIVE!!!!!!

I did what merc said everything looked good so i threw it all together and she didnt fire i almost sh*t my pants.. im looking it over checking connections thinking i missed something. she sounded like she wanted to kick over but just needed a little help, a little ether and a battery booster and she eventually kicked over:cheers:

Now whiskey and bed. 2 days from 8am-11pm im done for a bit... although i have work at 6am
