Change oil every 3000 miles?

Why was there a recommendation to do this for 2014-2018 heavy duty with 6.4 L? What happened after 2018?

My 2018 6.4 is 6 months or 6000 miles, but could be sooner based on usage conditions. Can't speak as to any change after 2018, sorry.

I have 2021 warlock I change mine every 5k miles

I'm 2017 and changing @ 5,000-6,000 miles.

Not gonna spend for a contaminant particle count every 1,000 miles above 5,000 miles to see how much I could stretch it. The oil itself can go much further, if it's Red Line or equivalent.
