I'm sure I over tightened it last time but any way the nut is about rounded off. I see a lot of threads about the cap I wanted to ask an up to date one. Should I get a stock cap or a aftermarket aluminum one? By the way I quit because I of the nut and I didnt have a replacement yet so I assume a strap wrench will work?

Ive never had a problems with the filter cap as I used a 28 mm wrench i purchased just for that nut, anyway what you buy to replace it is up to you.
