So I need help again. This time with an electrical issue, I think. So here goes.
Today I was driving my 2019 classic big horn on and off all day. Then this afternoon I backed into a parking spot and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Check engine light, parking brake light, ABS, service electric throttle control system, service anti locking braking system, auto stop disabled, battery light, the lightening bolt light at bottom and the speedometer went to - -. This also caused the shifter to be stuck in park. I turned the truck off and restart it. All lights came back on and still stuck in park. I then removed the neg battery cable for about 30 seconds then reconnected it. After that it started and ran just fine but the check engine light stayed on. I got it home and used my reader (cheap) and it showed no codes thrown. I took it to a local owned auto parts place and their reader said ABS module issues and I’d have to take it to a shop to be diagnosed. I took it to my local Autozone and they checked the battery and checked codes. Battery came back great full charged and no issues. The reader came back showing abs sensor issue. The guy their said that the sensor could be bad or it could just need reconfigured. He said it’s kinda like a Bluetooth sensor that could have lost connection. He looked up the prices for the sensors and tried to look up an ABS module and it showed up non applicable. He said that means the sensors connect to the main box and not a separate box just for ABS. I’m not sure what the issue could be. He cleared the code and it drove just fine back home and back to town and back home without the check engine or any other light coming on.
