Would you say an srtmax would be a good cam for a 2wd QCRB daily driver that would still see normal truck duties(if rarely)?

Yes but also depends on what gears and stall.

I thought stall depended on the cam, and either/both of those depended on the usage. Oh, boy...

Well, anyway, it currently has 3.92's and IDK if I'd change them since I'm going lowered with sub 33" tires.

And, as I said, it was suggested to me not to go over 2800 stall for a truck that'll still tow and haul, and not over 3200 stall for any sort of daily driver.

I’ll ask around locally, but what converter do I have? Have u talked to jay or get a inertia srtmax which is a 218/222 close to the comp 268 216/220. I ran 12.4 with the srtmax and very good low end as well

I’ve got a 4.7 converter in the truck now. Have a 3200 an 2600 laying around

That’s a lot of cubic inches! I want to build one sometime. Either thinking a shortbed regular cab or stuffed in something old.

I dropped a lot of weight doing my ladderbars suspension. Don’t know how much I weight but should be light

Awesome buddy!

Which pan did you end up getting. I want to swap out the factory steel pan for an aftermarket one with a temp sensor **** in it and keep looking at a bunch of them, obviously the 4L80e aftermarket is huge compared to Dodges, lol.

That looks exactly like my TCI shifter. Almost like a rebox haha

I Bleed Ram Trucks

I wanted the TCI but TCI doesn’t make it anymore. Some said back order and one shop said TCI isn’t making shifter anymore but they have a BM which looks the same Performs the same. Since I need it ASAP I just got it

How close are you to having the beast driving?

98% will be done in August. Then off to get custom headers made which the guy said will take him 1-2 weeks. Once that is done it will be off to get tuned. To be realistic I say it should start and be drivable by October 1st and hopefully its 1st pass at a Truck shootout October 28th.
