Code c2205 steering angle position senser

Hey y’all, I’ve been getting this code for a steering angle sensor and I have been trying to figure it out the past couple of days with no luck. A few weeks ago I had to take my truck to the shop to get the manifold replaced and when I got it back the code was on.. I took it back into them and they said they didn’t do that. (The light came on as I pulled out of the shop) So I was curious what you guys thought it could be.

It’s a 2012 ram 1500 with the 5.7
It drives great no alignment issues or anything just the code.

Is your steering wheel seriously off-center? You'll see this code after the install of a lift kit when the steering wheel is not centered correctly.

No sir. It is lifted but the lift was done years ago. No problems ever with the steering. The alignment is perfect and the steering wheel is completely straight up and down and straight.

I was thinking maybe they just didn’t plug the sensor in or something but, idk where the sensor is lol. It’s just weird since it drives like it should

The EPS rack came out in 2013, look on your door tag on driver's door for your Manufacture date, unless you have an early manufacture date.
