I think your year is HOAT, I get premixed if I could if not distilled for sure. Look into RMI-25.

I just did mine a couple weeks ago with Zerex G-05 and distilled water. It is far cheaper to mix your own vs buying the premixed 50/50.

If you are doing a complete Flush. I would definitely go with the G-05. Very easy to find if needed. Excellent coolant.

Yes Mix with Distilled H20. Since it really never gets extremely cold here during the winter. I mix 60/40-->Water cools better then coolant.

Like Burla stated above-->Give RMI-25 a look see! Gives that cooling system a bit of added protection.

RMI25 - Engine Coolant System

Used it in my 01 7.3L Powerstroke along with a spin on coolant filter. The stock water pump life span was 120K miles. After 298K miles at the time i sold her the stock water pump was still in place working perfect with zero leaks. Now I use it in my Ram as well as the other 3 family autos.

Ok not to concerned about price but if g-5 is sMe stuff and easily avaialble . Im thinkin most shops are not using distilled water

Use distilled water. Depending on where you are at the water hardness from the tap can significantly shorten the lifespan of commercial coolants.
