Cooled Seats and current Gear Displayed

Hello, New to forum and new to RAM. I just bought 19 Ram 1500 5.7 V8 in April and love it. Only 2 very minor issues that I have been curious about. 1) I played with my settings etc when I received the truck and noticed there was an option to display "current transmission gear" by the P,R,N,D displayed on the monitor. I had it on a few days then turned the option off. I looked the other day, and the setting option has been totally removed..Any reason for this?

2.) Once again minor but noticed this: when I turn cooled seats on for drivers seat on the first and then the max setting, the little cooled seat pic shows up in the upper left corner of my 8.4 inch display but when I change it to the middle cooled setting, the seat pic goes away. I do believe my cooled seat still works on medium setting but thought that was odd and was wondering if anyone had explanation for this or had seen this...cooled and heated seat in passenger seat shows the seat display with the cool or heat on my display properly for all 3 settings. Same with heated seat on driver side, no prob. It literally only goes away with cooled seat, middle setting, on drivers seat. Like I said no big deal at all really but just curious . Thanks Guys

I have never found a setting on mine for what gear it is actually in, I will have to play with that again to see (sorry no help there) as to the seat I have not used my cooled seat yet but the heated seat if I remember correctly stayed on until I changed screen (like to the radio) then I don't remember if it came back when I went back to setting. I guess I am no help on either question but I will look at the gear display again. Welcome to the forum and Ram trucks.

I did get to looking at the screen options and it was there for the "what gear you are in" (don't know the official name for it). It was an option on the bottom of screen in screen set up. I didn't know that was there. Hope you are able to get yours to display again.

Left side front of steering wheel controls everything you wish to see and not see. Speed in small #s can be put in any of the four corners? There are options that come on automatically if you select certain things such as Music playing selected for big center, then speed goes to small letters in a different location. Of course when you manually select a gear display gives you gear information, but you want same when in auto mode. I set mine up the way you want and watched the gear changes. It over road a setting I wanted more so switched back. I am no exspert as it took me months to find out how things worked and often forgot what I did for X to come on. Just kept pushing buttons. Reference my post above. I did not mean to be a smart butt, but words came out that way and I apoligise. What gear you are in appears to right of mileage. It is brought on by going to the 2 gears symbol, scroll until see gear your in yes or no.
