If this thread is in the wrong spot, go ahead and move it.

As yall know, I have a 98' Ram 1500 sport. I replaced all the u-joints this weekend, and its still clunking, we put it on jackstands and put it in gear. I can hear the clunking very prominatly in the rear axle, and could feel it on the diff. So we pulled the diff cover. The oil that came out looked like never sieze lube.
in the the case, were several teeth. 2 are from the pinion. one is from the ring, and all the metal bits are from the spiders. everything is all chewed to hell in there. The axle is a Corperate 9.25, with 3.92 gears. i Would like to change it to limited slip when i rebuild it. ontop of an LSD kit, anyone know where i could find a gearset for it? or if anyone has one they'd be willing to sell? Thanks guys. any help is appreciated. just wanna get my girl back on the road.

I vote Randys ring and pinion. I've built 3 rear axles and used their gears. I've always spent the extra cash and got the master overhaul kit which is all bearings, shims, crush sleeves, and new bolts. And I highly recommend going with the Yukon brand gears. They are durable as hell. I just rebuilt my 4.56 and I bought gears, spider gears, and the master overhaul kit. Well worth the $650 or so bucks.

I have Yukon gears in my diffs. Just get the part #s off Motive, Yukon, or whoever you go with, then run them through google to find them where they're cheapest. I already had Yukon 4.88s in my rear when I bought it but had to buy a matching set for my front. I went with Yukon and bought the R&P off Amazon and the install kit off Jegs since they were cheapest. Just look around.

My dad found a ring and pinion for 160, and a set of spiders for 200. not sure of the brand, probably stock chrysler. good pricing?
