Hey guys im new to the forum and the world of trucks...I just got over my G35 and I decided I needed a weekend truck so I went with the 2014 V8 RAM black edition.I have a few questions to ask all you knowledgeable folk.

-Projector headlights
So the truck comes stock with projector headlights if you haven't noticed...I have never owned a pair of projectors and I was wondering if you can just change the bulb to HID's with a ballast? any specific type recommended?

-Lowering
I want a 2/4 Drop on the truck and i've head the mcgauphys 2/4 springs are pretty good but I was curious if I will still be able to tow heavy things?

-Muffler Delete
Will this hurt the hemi in any way shape or form?

Yes you can buy aftermarket HID's, I have ran many ddm tuning kits but the last kit I bought is giving me all sorts of problems so I might go elsewhere next time. I believe H11 bulbs are still used as low beams but that could just be the quad lights.

No removing your muffler will not hurt the engine in any way. You may lose a little low end power but not much. There is actually a bolt on kit made by mufflex that moes performance sells that is a driveway installable kit.

I will comment on the drop kit. I recommend the McGaughy kit, I had one on my 03 for over 9 years without any issues. I would suggest going with the deluxe kit so you get new front spindles. It keeps all the steering and suspension geometry closer to stock.

for towing, you can get an Air Lift air spring kit that fits inside the rear springs. This way you can add air when towing to keep things level. Check with Matt at Moe's Perforance, he can hook you up with what you need.
