Hey guys new to the forums here and hoping hoping I can get a couple questions answered.
So I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 16 2500 CC SB with the 6.4,Big Horn with 4.10's
The first thing I plan on doing is swapping out wheels and tires. I'm going to go with 35's and throw a 2.5 level up front. With 35's will I need the spedo calibrated? How far off will my mph be if I don't? Also will I need anything on the rear? Or will I be fine with just putting on the 2.5 kit up front? Also if I do level the truck will this mess with the factory warranty in any way?
Last question is when looking for wheels do I need to go with any particular offset?
Thanks for the help and I'm sure I'll be back here often when I get my new rig. Thanks guys!

a bigger tire will require you to have your speedo recalibrated. how much its off depends on what size tire you get. theres a few online calculators that can give you that info. i would probably stick with a 2" level, i feel 2.5" gives the truck a bit of a nose high look but to each his own. you will need longer shocks or at least shock extenders. picking offset depends on tire size and the look your going for. need more info in order to help you out there.

the warranty is at the discretion of the dealer. some are more relaxed then others when it comes to mods, especially something as basic as a leveling kit. a general rule of thumb would be to assume a leveling kit would probably void any warranty with the front suspension. if you havent bought the truck yet, your best bet would be to ask the dealer their take on it.

Also once you throw 35s on it you should look at installing lower gears as well or 6th gear is not going to be happy with you.
I would try to stay around 5.5" of bs, this will keep the tire and wheels under the truck more which will be easier on front end parts, fit better ( more clearance) and not blast the side of your truck.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. So like I said I'll be running 35's possibly even a 295/70/18 which is actually a 34" tire. Probably run a Toyo A/T or Trail Grapplers. One of the reasons I'm going with the 4.10 over the 3.73 as Ive read that this ratio will not only be better for towing but for also better running slightly larger tires. If I have to start messing with gear ratios though it might not be worth it.
I'm buying from Dennis Dillon so they won't be doing any of my warranty work as Im from the Denver area so I'll just assume any issues I have with the front suspension won't be covered.
Also not a fan of the tires that stick way out look. I want just a little if at any past my fenders. Im guessing I would want to stick to 0-5 offset, correct?
I think your correct on just sticking to a 2" level upfront, I don't want to be nose high. So in the rear can I just leave that alone then if I stay with a 34"-35" tire?

The stock tires are over 33" so you'll be fine. You could fit huge tires in the rear stock, it's the front cab body seam that limits the size with certain offsets.

You could run 35s stock..... 35s with 4.10s will be a non issue....35s and 3.73 isn't even an issue. As far as rims go if you don't want a bunch of tire out past the fenders go with a +18 You will be like 1.5 inches past the fender with a 12.50 wide tire...

I have an RCX 2.5" level kit on my '14 and it still has rake. It is not nose high by any means.

Also, I did not need to recalibrate running 325/70/18 Duratrac's. I don't remember the exact number but the speedo was off such a small amount that I just ignore it. Get a GPS speedometer on your phone and drive with it on for a bit to figure out the difference.
