I’ve already said yes, I think they looked over all the modules and they said if the ecm happens to not work then I will not be charged for any of the parts and labor for it.

They said ecm will take a week, they would get it installed as soon as possible and give me a call

They have said if it doesn’t work I will not be charged I’m currently at 2400 for everything they have done and parts hopefully that won’t go any higher They said the ecm is dropping off the network and they can almost “gaurentee” it’s the issue. I do kind of believe it because maybe a bad ground did the job

"almost a guarantee" is not a guarantee. It may also mean they are not confident in their diagnosis.

Ecm has fixed the no start issue it is now running but they said it is running rough not throwing misfire codes but running rough with check engine light

If it has the light on,it'll have a code,if they're telling you it doesn't have a code they're BS'ing you,as it doesn't turn on the check engine light unless it has a scan-able code.Did anybody check the bolt torque on the intake manifold,as they do lose torque over time,and can cause a vacumn leak which will cause it to run rough. Tell them to retorque the intake manifold,or take a 5/16's socket with you,and retorque them yourself.If it's throwing a 219-A or 219-B code it's the intake manifold.

This hasn't been talked about for awhile,but check your intake manifold bolts.They call for 108 in-lbs or roughly 9 ft-lbs of torque,and they should be checked at least yearly,as they do loosen up. I've been doing mine at least twice a year on all 3 of of my hemi equipped vehicles.They should be...

I think i'd get the truck back,and take it somewhere else,as the first thing anybody should do,is scan it for codes

That is probably the plan if they don’t have anything by next week I will be taking it somewhere else

Was going to reply with the exact same comment. It's likely is an active misfire, but the code will likely tell you which particular cylinder it is (the exception is if it's P0300 which just says "random misfire").

It is not an active misfire or the cel would flash I had the same issue when it was running for me I’m gonna try and find out the code I’m almost sure it’s the intake runner position sensor

Little update. New pcm fixed the no start issue. They were having the same issue I was having running rough with check engine light missing out really bad. They tore the motor back down found that one pushrod was bent and they suspect it wasn’t installed correctly and that’s why. They said everything else looked great from my job. They said the valve seats are pretty dirty and are going to lap the valves and fix my exhaust manifold leak while they are in there. Hoping when they get it back together everything is fixed and I get it back after 4 months next week
