CUB Blind Spot Detector in 2018 Ram 1500

I purchased a CUB Blind Spot Detector from Etrailer. It was some effort to install, but it only clicks in one way so I am confident its been installed correctly. On testing it keeps giving me a error notification and does not work on the road. I have tried to find someone that has any technical knowledge of this system or has put one in, but no such luck.

Has anyone in the forum installed one of these systems or has some familiarity with it?

It may be no different (but then again, maybe it is), but this is the 5th Gen forum - 2019 and up "New Series".

Maybe post again in the 4th Gen forum (....to 2018 and 2019+ Classic).
