And from Mopar owners manual states to use 3 micron engine bay filter { We recommend using Mopar® Fuel Filter. "Must meet 3 micron rating" (engine mounted filter). Must meet 5 micron rating (chassis mounted filter). So tell me how a 4 micron meets the Mopar 3 micron nanonet Spec??? BTW I added the " " marks...
Thats funny!!!!
My manual says RAM all over it, nothing of Mopar in writing.
Page 196 states: use of oem filter is required to ensure vehicle will run.
Does not say a min micron amount....
And you know what's funny, my truck runs just fine lmao
Plus ya can't compete with the facts coming directly from cummins website =
Also from that same site states: The critical particle sizes for modern injection systems are 4 and 6 microns
So once again Duralast Fuel Filters do meet what is required.....
Oh and this from Fuel-FactSheet from Cummins Filtration site: 50% of the worldwide diesel fuel supply does not meet OEM specifications for cleanliness; particles greater than 4 microns in size are known to cause wear to these sensitive systems. (Yet again they mention 4 micron)
also "if" Duralast Fuel Filters are sooo bad, then why is my truck still running/working? My mpg is 20-24 for a stock 6.7 cummins
Just stating hard facts...
