Cummins Serial Number & turbo Speed Sensor

Hi,

Looking for some help on locating the engine serial number on my 2016 Ram 3500 with Cummins 6.7. I have had no luck finding it.

Also, does anyone know the correct part number for the turbo speed sensor? My truck is showing the 2580 code. I cleared it once but it has come back after about a week.

The serial number of the 6.7 Cummins Engine is typically located on a metal tag or sticker on the right-hand side of the engine block, just below the valve cover and above the fuel filter housing. The serial number consists of 12 characters that are split into three parts: a prefix (four digits), an engine family code (five digits) and a suffix (three digits). The first four numbers indicate what type of motor it is while last three numbers provide information about when and where it was manufactured.

I searched everywhere and ended up going to the Dodge dealer. ESN is located on top of the valve cover at the rear under the cowl area. It is only 8 numbers. Have to hold the camera and slide it under the cowl to take a picture of it.
