I have a bad actuator on my 2016 6.7 Cummins. I bought the OBDLink MX+ and now I am trying to figure out if the AlfaOBD can be used to calibrate the new actuator when I go to replace it?

Yes, Alfa has that function. I have not personally tried it but other have and said it worked. With that said City Diesel makes a aftermarket actuator that is more "robust" then the factory unit and it does not require calibration.

Just make sure the shaft that the actuator runs on the turbo is not seized up when you take the actuator off. It should move freely. If it doesn’t then you will need to replace the turbo.
