Installing front cardone hd cv axles, and new front diff shafts (intermediate and stub)
I’ve got boots that in theory should keep the weather/elements out and create a seal at the diff. spline dust shield to cv connection. Would y’all fill this new boot type seal void with nlgi#2/snythetic grease, nickel anti-seize, ptfe lube, none? The more the merry or a little goes a long way? Thinking safety, function, wear and tear

Cardone site says use “light” grease on splines and cv axle teeth during assembly.

Seems odd these spline type connections are not more protected out of the gate, are there more unions where a new age boot could save down the road like the slip yoke?

Use a little bit of grease. It's pretty mush just to make sure things don't lock together and help prevent corrosion.

DO NOT use anti seize. Anti seize is great for parts that go together once and don't move during operation, but the powdered Ni, Zn, etc will act as an abrasive if its in between moving components.
