My 2017 Rebel got hit this morning on the driver's mirror. The other party admitted fault and I have opened a case with their insurance. I have power, power folding, heated, and dimming mirrors (68231241AI) that run about $1175 without discount. Dealer said it will be a couple months wait if I order through them. I don't want to use aftermarket, but if absolutely forced to do so, does anyone have feedback especially to the fit and finish as my truck is still pristine and want to keep it that way. I don't want some janky @$$ plastic junk that's gonna fade and crack in 2 years or vibrate while going 70mph.

Have their insurance cut you a check for that 1175, then punch "(68231241AI)" in on ebay ( or rockauto) and get an OEM of there

Then pocket the 350 difference

Lol, I will end up doing it myself most likely which will be my argument. They can pay $1175 or they can pay a body shop, rental car, and any other costs incured. Most of the ones on eBay are $5-600 and missing the glass or at least $900 which is same price as most mopar parts stores.

The way i understood it, your biggest concern was actually getting one in a decent time

my last Ram had an aftermarket passenger side mirror.the heating grid was nowhere near as good as oem.it was quite annoying to see how inferior it was.

I have the aftermarket tow mirrors. They don't look bad at all. Physically they look great. I'm sure there's differences in the heating elements and glass clarity and some of the internal parts, but as far as appearance goes they are pretty good

I ordered new mirrors to replace tow mirrors. Power folding, heated, color matched. Everything including the switch and door modules.

Had them in 6 days, shipped to my door
