So I found a new feature. I had to go to another town about 35 miles away on the inter state. While I was driving the little needle that shows the battery charging started dancing (bouncing) between high and low, then it stopped. It did this two time on the way there and once on the way home.

So what module controls this little needle? I know if I bring it in to get looked at, I will be told they can't reproduce it, or it is normal operation, because this other truck does the same thing. I want to make sure the wiring is all plugged in correctly.

Edit
Alright I think I know what it is doing. It stays on about mid range for awhile then drops down to a lower setting. After awhile at the lower setting it jumps back up to the higher setting for a few seconds then comes back down. I am guess since these newer vehicles don't charge all the time, this is normal behavior. Only charge at a higher rate when needed then drop down to a lower rate for normal use.

Thanks
Mike
