I got real lucky. I had notice a faint smell of fuel the day before I was to install the injectors. After they were installed, I jumped out the fuel pump to see what was causing the smell (loose connection or bad line). I put my hand behind the blower and could feel a mist. I had to pull the blower off to get to the rear supply lines to the fuel rails. Turns out the driver’s side fuel rail 180* connector had been rubbing against the SS fuel line and rubbed a hole. I'm lucky I found it before a major fire erupted.

Update. The injectors are in and the remote tuning is completed. Based on the build & 8.1 PSI boost the estimated RWH is rated @ 600-625. I'm very happy with the end results. It's not a show or strip truck, but a DD work truck that's unique and most likely one of a kind. The mileage just rolled over the 400,000 mile mark. I'll be chilling on anymore major mods for now. Future mods are coming in a few years when I refresh her up for retirement

Congratulations on a job well done! 600hp is impressive. How many hours do you think it took, start to finish?
Thanks!! If you’re talking about the whole project, it slowly morphed in about three years. I had to work on it when I could over the weekends. Compressed I believe one could build the whole project in about 3 months or less if they had all the stuff and nothing but time to spend on the build.

It's been a great read following your build.
Thanks for sharing it, and for all the detail as well!
Enjoy the fruits of your labour, you've earned every smile per gallon.
Perhaps a vid of you laying 11's down for the victory spin :driver:

Thanks! I'm not sure how well she would do the 1/4 with the 3.21 gears and 37's. Maybe later when I finish her up & get some proper tires I'll try that! Also, I want to thank all the support/suggestions from all the members that chimed in!

I put about 85% highway miles on my daily driving, so I do like the 1,500 RPM's at 77 MPH. It's has plenty of take off power as is with the 3.21"s. I'm still thinking whether or not I want to do the 3.92 swap when the time comes.

i’m in the same boat as long as I don’t go to a bigger tire, I will most likely just leave it alone, but if I do decide to go 40s at some point, then I might go to a 392 or 410

Well I didn't expect this! My commute is combined highway & city (Atlanta) mileage and I'm getting 20 +/- MPG. I took it easy to see her average best could be. Not bad for a SC Demon with an estimated 600+ WHP. 2014 Ram 1500 RC SWB Sport 4x4 with 37'' tires & 3.21 gears.

If you drive them decent a Hellcat Challenger/Charger will pull down better milege then a 6.4,and quite often a 5.7 in the cars. It's not uncommon to see guys posting of high 20's/low 30's out of their hellcats on a trip

Bit of an update. The throttle body sensor has been throwing a code so I have ordered a new upgrade replacement. I’ve been chilling out with my mods until I get the rest of the drivetrain beefed up. However when a part needs replacing, it just makes sense to upgrade. I have a Demon 170 throttle body ordered which is a 105mm opening. It comes with an adapter to bolt to the Whipples 103mm intake connection. I’ll port match the Whipple if needed. They have had success on the 2.9 front T.B. Connection, hopefully mine with the rear TB connection will hook up with no clearance issues. I’ll keep you posted when it arrives.

That looks like a Hellcat TB,but bigger. I don't remember my Hellcat TB looking that big,lol
It’s the Demon 170 TB. 105mm which will allow the SC to be wide open. The Whipple CAI is sized for the 105mm size so I’ll have to open up the connection tube from 3” to 4”.

It sure dwarfs the stock 80mm throttle body, lol
What's that sucker worth Roland?
