Did an oil change on the Ram, only got hurt twice

I would love to know what possessed the designer to put the oil filter where they did on my 2013 Ram Express.

I would love to know what possessed the designer to put the oil filter where they did on my 2013 Ram Express.

My 2013, 3.6L has the filter in the middle, top of engine. Unique bare filter without a can.

It actually works pretty well.

Now, if I changed to vacuum, I could do the entire change without crawling under the pickup.
