Kind of weird, no one wants the auto climate bezels, even tough they workjust fine and are actually a better more expensive bezel. You are getting the 911 error did you upgrade your antenna or use a dummy load antenna on the cellular port?

It isn't better because it provides buttons that are useless. The whole point of the upgrade is to make it perform like stock. I don't want to be driving with people and have to explain why certain buttons don't work constantly.

I was being rhetorical. I also have the single zone which is what I wanted. But the dual works fine, and actually is more expensive. Some times I think guys like us are just a little too **** about things like that, myself included.

Yes I installed dummy, I am having a new one sent to me. That should do it.

Ok, had a hard time searching for the mirror thread on my phone. But, can a guy just swap in the super dimming/911/mic mirror without changing anything? Or does it require a whole new harness for it to work? I already have the Uconnect mic mirror now.

Hmm , I installed the 911/ assist auto dimming mirror with microphones when I upgraded to the RA2 , my parts guy @ the dealer said there's only one harness , Called the mirror wiring header .
He claimed thisone worked all mirrors that require wires ...

That would be cool. Less work for me and less stuff to buy then if the right harness is up there.

This may be too easy but I have to ask if you have the correct harness and module set up? In looking at your post, I see you have a 2013? If so did you hvac system originally have 4 speeds or 7? I believe all 2013 rams that came with the RA1 or RA@ radios have the factory 4 speed hvac set up. Also where did you get your harness from did you build it or buy it? Was it built for the 4 speed or 7 speed conversion, the pin out for the 24 pin connectors are different depending on which one you have. Also which module are you using? And if you have the factory 4 speed set up ddi you add the additional OEM harness, replacement resistor.

If you have the 4 speed factory hvac
you need
1. 68048906AA HARNESS
2. 68105017AE CONTROL MODULE
3. 68048901AA RESISTOR

If you have the 7 speed factory hvac, you just need the module and the harness that Cyler makes or do I need something else?

Your dimming doesn't work? Thought if they had power it was pretty much a done deal. But if you wanted to turn it off via the 8.4 you needed the sales code.

Actually I'm not certin that it works or not . I've never really noticed a difference in it , if there is one it's slight . It's a very nice and easy on the eyes. Maybe it does work ... I was under the impression that it had to be turned on via the 8.4" radio . My evic or my RA2 5.0 does not have this option .
I've never had an auto dimming mirror prior to thisone so I really don't know how much of a difference to expect .

i have a 2013 Ram 2500 with a RA1 radio i want to convert to the 8.4 RA3 radio can i buy a harness from The Harness Connection ? If so can someone give me some guidiance im a little confused with all the differnt threads and post in this thread

The short answer = Yes

Just follow CPTwing's instructions and you should be good! We do have the harness you need in 2 flavors. You can put the module you need either behind the center stack under the radio, or purchase our extended harness that will put the module in the factory location behind the glovebox like shown in cptwings post. If you need anything else feel free to ask!
