My JL 500/1 puts out slot of power and no over heating problems yet. And I've gone on 1 to 2 hr trips with constant playing.

Droid Incredible 2 on the move!!!

having an issue doing this....it seems that all 4 of the larger bolts holding the seats in are cross threaded the whole way in..... been at it for an hour and only have 1 out....any ideas to speed this up a bit?

I've been rocking the **** out of that amp for two years now. No over heating.

Wish you could do this for the 4th gens.

Before the ram, I had a silverado, the chevys have welded hooks too, the mod I did on that truck required that 1/2" be cut off of the hooks coming off the back of the seat, this allows the seat to lift free in the same way. There is a risk of taking too much off of the hooks, but if you are careful and the setup is the same, Its probably doable

Planning on making so I can drop the rear seat down and my shotgun will be right there. A place to have it close but out of sight

Subscribed. I'm going to figure out a way to make this work in my 4th gen, whether it means cutting the welded hooks off and re-welding them on upside down, or bending them, or notching them, etc.

Took a look at it tonight without removing the rear seat, and believe I have it all figured out. Be later this week before I can take it apart and confirm my theory. Stay tuned. :)
