DLR on 2016 Sport with projectors

I had my dealer turn on the DLR on my 2016 Sport 1500. The only option was turning on the projectors in a low brightness, lower than low beams, and not the LED blinkers. Does this sound right? Ive heard other having the LED turned on for the DLR. But the dealer here said there is not an option for that.

Your dealer is right. Since 2015 it is not possible to change the Salescode (for example) to change the position of the DRL. Also not to change with the dealer BCM.

You must find a special programmer, they can change the position, it's possible

Weird, you guys don't have the LED blinker on all the time down there? Idk why Ram would even do that, it looks so much better going down the road with that on!

yes, i know 3, but they are in europe

I think there a more in your country, but i can´t help you... i think company´s like diablosport can do this...for example.

Check out a drl 1 module. It's 50 bucks and turns your parking lights into drl when put in drive. Guy on here did a build with them.

Yeah, it's a little rough. I'm running his module as well, although my '11 is far less finicky.

I made a DIY thread for that DRL-1 module on our trucks. You DO NOT have to cut any wires. If you have stock projectors, you'll have the stock DRL wire (Pin 4 I believe). Simply use wire taps to tap into the appropriate wires and you'll have error free LED DRLs at full power.
