There is a hole behind there. You would have to fill it in first.

If you are just going to cover it with bedliner, you might be able to get away with just putting a piece of tape over it, and then spraying over the tape. Tape is so thin, that it shouldnt show after the liner is applied.

Only worry would be that the tape would make the liner in that part not stick as well? Or because of how small of a hole it is it wouldn't be a problem.

from that last pic it appears to be less that a 1/2'' deep correct? if thats the case just use some bondo and smoother it out. that how most places will shave recessed emblems.

pic up some sandpaper also 80 grit to rough everything up then some 120 and 400grit. i wouldnt worry about getttin all the scratchs out cause the bedliner will fill in some. if you have some primer i would use that before the bedliner. dont use to much hardner cause it will dry to fast if you do.

Alright so I still can't get the 6 grille bolts out. I tried grabbing them with vice grips even and nothing is holding them while i spin that nut. Even soaked em to. So I think I'm just gonna have to order new ones. Are these the ones I would have to order? The ones pictured.

Are you talking about the plastic rivets that attatch the inserts to the grille shell, or the screws that attatch the metal frame to the back of the grille?
