I would simply go to a hardware store and have then cut you a flat spare key to put in your wallet. All you need to do is open the door with it.
I have been doing this since the 60's.

Yep, had two made for the 2020 Grande Cherokee, 7.85 at Lowes for two and they supplied the blanks. The place that programed my new Ram fob cut me a flat key, no charge. They also cut the emergency key that fits in the fob.

zip ty a spare in a bag under the vehicle underneath or buy a realtor key box and lock it under the truck. Growing up on the west coast surfing everyone hides their keys, eventually someone invented the hitch lock.
